| Tired of caching in your own backyard? Have you ever considered caching in another area of the US or another country? We have and we’re sure there are many of you who have done so and may want to do so again. Our passion for hiking and our love of travel has lead us to some wonderful and memorable experiences here and abroad, our favorite place to hike is in the highlands of Scotland. We would like to combine our recently discovered hobby of GeoCaching with that of hiking. So in that spirit this site is dedicated to working with professional travel agents in creating organized, preplanned, affordable and close as possible to all inclusive vacations that combine Geo Caching with that of discovering the history, the culture, the beauty and mystery of the US or other lands. We can’t say enough about Scotland, it is one of the most beautiful, mystical, romantic, most visually appealing places on the earth. There are any number of historical sites to visit, warm and inviting villages, modern cities that still cling to their mysterious dark past and the lush green country side goes on for miles broken only by rugged mountain ranges and the hundreds of beautiful lochs. Over the past several months we have contacted several Scottish & Irish travel agents which offer a variety of vacation packages. One of our favorites is Wilderness Scotland which offers awarding winning adventure travel such as walking; sea-kayaking; canoeing and other adventure holidays. We encourage you to visit their website and see what they have to offer you won’t be disappointed. As for caching there are many caches, traditional, multi, earth, mystery and puzzle to choose from all across Scotland. If you care to join us on a GeoCache Excursion we are sure there will be enough to satisfy the cacher and the adventurer in you. If enough interest is generated we may expand the excursions to Ireland, Wales, England or beyond. |
